Gucci's new Menswear Fall 2011 Collection has a lot of promising pieces with cool 60's and 70's style influence. Those classic canvas sneakers in picture 1 and 3 are such a cool, crisp clean look that I love! Those Mansai-esque Gucci bracelets in pic 5 aren't half bad either. Picture 1 is just so cool to me with that navy cord blazer, those vintage faded jeans and those shoes are a necessity!
This was a pretty cool idea from the J. Crew design team of obtaining vintage US military tents dating as far back as the 1940's and constructing these limited edition shorts. Creating only 40 of these but each pair is a one-of-a-kind with different shades of olive green due to wear and tear of the original tents. The sad part is that they are all gone/sold out! They retailed for $198 a pair.

Two of my favorite people in the industry, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim from Opening Ceremony have been named Creative Directors of French fashion house Kenzo. They are going to show their Spring/Summer 2012 line in October. CONGRATULATIONS! You two deserve it! This is just proof to one of my favorite sayings/beliefs "Good things happen to good people"!
