Yes another pair of shoes! These are the Sperry Topsiders Authentic Original Seasonal Boat Shoe in New Navy leather. These are a definite purchase. These are another pair that I'm contemplating on getting. These are the Tod's New Gommini 122 Lace Driver Shoe in sand suede. I really liked how they looked in this ad from above on the man to the right and how they look with his khaki slacks. The blue blazer with the white pocket square and the white shirt just topped it off just right. And as everybody knows if anybody knows how to put an outfit together the best it is the Italians! These are the Louis Vuitton Cycle Moccasin in sand colored suede calf leather from the Spring/Summer 2010 runway show. I'm contemplating buying these. I tried them on at the LV store on 5th ave. and they looked really good especially with the outfit I had on but I chose not to do it. They are an original high loafer that combines laces with a car shoe structure. They also have these cool looking orange rubber nubs along the bottom and back of the heel. I don't like the color orange too much but they worked on this shoe. They retail for $615 and I'll keep you posted if I do decide to purchase them.
The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2010 Runway Show was a success yesterday streaming live on facebook and twitter. There was an estimate of over 1 million viewers watching live online. This alone is the start of something so huge in the fashion business. No more huge lines and chaos at the shows anymore which will really help with the delays that usually occur. Now to the collection at hand. The inspiration was clearly from the 50's era with the long skirts that are slim at the waist and get wider and flare out at the bottom. Very classy. Here's a look at Chanel's runway at their last show. Chanel is known for their extravagant runway shows with their stage sets looking more like a broadway show. This runway show was an artistic masterpiece.-EMM According to Wallpaper, “the runway was painted with a trompe l’oeil effect, giving the impression of deep, glacial ice underneath. This was topped with a shallow layer of water. Chanel had also hired 35 ice sculptors who, over the course of 6 days, hewed 240 tonnes of ‘snice’ (frozen snow-ice, if you’re unfamiliar with the term) into a dramatic icescape, reaching 8.5 metres at its highest point. Models donned special transparent Chanel galoshes to wade through the watery catwalk and pace around the Iceberg.” One question, how do you find 35 ice sculptors?? Lol, can you imagine the Craig’sList ad?
