My favorite hat for this season is the classic driving cap/hat. I honestly haven't wore one in like 14 years but I just bought 2 yesterday at the J. Crew store in a light grey herringbone tweed and a brown herringbone tweed. But these 2 are on my list in dark charcoal grey and grey tweed herringbone colors. The J. Crew cabbie hat/driving cap has an adjustment strap in the back which gives it an added cool look to it. Both are available now @ JCREW.com for $39.50.
