For any New Yorker the loss of the World Trade Center was a big blow to our hearts especially the loss of thousands of innocent human beings has changed our lives dramatically. RIP to all who we have lost on that traumatic day. This video now has an eerie feeling to it now that that tragedy has occurred. The title alone "Enjoy the silence" is eerie enough. Now to the styling of this video. The lead singer David Gahan has on a baggy cotton long sleeved hooded t-shirt which was very popular back in the early 90's. I owned a couple myself. Topped off with a fade, long thick sideburns, aviators shades and yeah this sums up 1990 for me.
