Elena the Superyacht

Here are some beautiful images I found of this 100 year-old superyacht called Elena. It has 1200 meters of sail, the inside is entirely made out of mahogany and it is priced around $12 million! I hope it sparks some inspiration!

"Jeune Femme a la Fontaine"

Jean Baptiste Camille Corot's "Jeune femme a la fontaine" is going on sale at the Sotheby's auction on June 2, 2010 for an estimated $1.8 million. This piece was actually stolen from the original owner in 1938 by the Nazis and ended up in a museum in The Netherlands. This piece reminds me of a painting that my mother had in her room for years when I was growing up so it automatically demanded my attention. Good luck to the lucky individual that obtains this wonderful piece of art and history from Sotheby's!

Chanel Fiole Concept Car

This is where two of my favorite things on earth come together Fashion and Automobiles. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!-EMM Jinyoung Jo, a talented car designer at Hong-ik University in South Korea, has created the Chanel Fiole concept car, branded with the name of the famed French luxury goods firm. The design is "centered on simplicity of lines" and a classic black and white color scheme in the best tradition of Coco Chanel and her tailored suits. The ultra-aerodynamic coupe features Chanel's famed interlocking C's on the front grille and has three seats. It's not an altogether far-fetched idea given that Chanel kingpin Karl Lagerfeld is something of a car nut (he has three Hummers) and recently designed aChanel version of the Segway.

Louis Vuitton "Breakfast in the Desert" Trunk

Another LV trunk but this one is from the future. Check it out!-EMM If you were to commission Louis Vuitton to create a bespoke trunk made to hold anything you desire, what would it be? Last year we wrote about Karl Lagerfeld's custom Vuitton trunk made to hold his collection of 20 iPods. Pretty cool if a little over-the-top. A Chinese gentleman has commissioned something more grandiose and yet more mundane from the famed French luxury goods house, which will produce anything within reason. The client "wanted to be able to watch television and offer coffee to his friends wherever he traveled in the world, including the remotest desert," LV's Patrick-Louis Vuitton recounts. "We agreed to put two solar panels linked to a battery for the flat-screen TV and DVD player, two-way radio, tuner and coffee machine." The trunk (above), covered in Damier canvas, took a year and tens of thousands of dollars to complete.

Bulgari Gerald Genta Octo Grand Sonnerie Tourbillon Watch

Wow! The names of these watches these days are getting longer and longer. What is the point? This Bulgari watch is a special timepiece especially the price estimated to be around $900,000. Its casing is in 18k white gold and is 43mm wide. Very few are actually being produced and it is not available as of yet.

Bespoke Louis Vuitton Humidor Trunk for $27,000

This is such a rare find!-EMM In 1925 Louis Vuitton created a special trunk in its iconic monogram canvas to house a portable set of the Encyclopaedia Brittanica for the traveling scholar. A later owner adapted the rare item to a more practical purpose, turning it into the world's most stylish portable humidor. The trunk was professionally refitted to house 500 cigars in removable boxes lined with seasoned Spanish cedar along with a removable humidor in burled American walnut. The lid of the trunk has been lined in Spanish cedar as well and inset with decorative burled walnut panels. London's Pullman Gallery is now offering the one-of-a-kind piece for $27,800.

Prada the Book

Not the hugest fan of Prada but I do have respect for the brand for its successful longevity in the fashion business and of course for their crisp looking dress shirts.-EMM Prada, the book, is a well edited collection of images that documents 30 years of the respected Italian fashion house. From stills taken from short films showcasing the craftsmanship of the factory, collages of the brand's most iconic and influential accessories, to runway photos, images - unfortunately thumbnails - of over 3,000 looks, store designs and a photo essay by renowned photographer Brigitte Lacombe - this book is complete eye candy for any fashion enthusiast. Price: $136. Or $80 at here.

Louis Vuitton Antique Bench

I need this in my life!-EMM An antique bench upholstered in Louis Vuitton's signature monogram canvas is being offered for sale by Southall Antiques in San Francisco. Priced at $6,400 and probably not a Vuitton original, the unique, eye-catching object is a 20th century Louis XV style parcel gilt and acanthus carved piece raised on cabriole legs that was apparently re-covered at some point in the famed fabric. Given that Vuitton is very careful with its canvas due to the pervasiveness of counterfeiters, we are inclined to wonder whether the fabric itself is authentic. It is nonetheless an attractive and attention-getting design accent for the right decorating scheme as well as an attractive item for vintage Vuitton collectors.

Audi A8 Hybrid (EMM's Car of the Day!)

The new Audi A8 Hybrid comes in Prism Silver paint in Spectra Flair which has a rainbow effect as the light hits it from different angles. It comes with 21 inch two-colored wheels (I had to buy my 21's for the Bimmer) and a V6 engine with four-cylinder fuel efficiency and emissions. It only has 245 Horses though (BOOOO!). But the interior is extremely exquisite as you can see for yourself. And the back of the vehicle doesn't really look too appealing to me at all. But all in all the BMW 7 reigns supreme over this one. HAHAHA (in my victorious evil henchman laugh)!

2011 BMW Active Hybrid 7 (MY 200TH POSTING!)

The new 2011 BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) Active Hybrid 7 Series. I really don't have to say too much because this car speaks for itself. It just weighs a little more than the 750i because of the battery pack and the transmission but that doesn't take anything away from the drive. And yes if you didn't know BMW's especially the 7 series is the Ultimate Driving Machine and I stand by those words.

Polistas Polo Dress

Now you know I'm sticking with Ralph all the way but I like the picture so here's another option for the equetrian-types.-EMM Polistas, the first true polo lifestyle brand made for polo players by polo players with a chic boutique in London'sBurlington Arcade, has come out with a fetching polo dress for sportswomen and sexy spectators. Priced at £100.00 and made of 100% cotton, the dress is a longer, form-fitted version of the classic Polistas polo shirt as worn by the likes of England's Prince Harry and Prince William. It features an an embroidered number 3 and a Polistas logo on the chest. Officers of Her Majesty the Queen's Life Guards, part of the Royal Household Cavalry, are also customers of Polistas, which outfits the Royal Jordanian Polo Team, the Sultan of Brunei, and members of the Kuwaiti Royal Family for the sport of kings as well.

Lugano Diamonds $27,000 Sunglasses

These sunglasses have 2.85 carats of pink diamonds, gold frame and pink lenses. These are designed by Barton Perriera and were well done without the gaudiness of today's sunglasses with diamonds.

Rolls-Royce "Black Ruby" Coupe

Only one in existence designed by DC Design for an Indian maharaja and was in his possession until now. Blending elements of a Rolls-Royce with those of a Nissan 350Z, Ferrari Enzo and Maybach Exelero, the special creation known as "The Black Ruby" is up for sale with a sticker price of £750,000, or about $1.2 million in American greenbacks. But if that's not your cup of tea, DC has also given birth to such creations as a two-door Porsche Cayenne sport-utility and a $220,000 retrofit of the Tata Nano, which stood before DC's conversion as the cheapest car on the market.

Breitling Avenger Seawolf Chrono Blacksteel Watch

Wow what a name! I'm not rewriting that again. This a very nice timepiece for day to day use and is only limited to only 2000 made. It retails for $5015.

2011 Land Rover LRX

There's no other SUV like a Land Rover although the new X6M by Bmw is pretty badass! Anyways this two door SUV looks so refreshing and is going to be a Hybrid as well. Check it out!-EMM Is the world ready for a kinder, gentler Sport Utility Vehicle? Land Rover is betting on it, and the rugged British off-road brand will reportedly debut its hotly anticipated LRX at the Paris Motor Show later this year. Shortly thereafter, the production LRX will make its North American debut in LA. According to Automotive News, the LRX will go on sale in the third quarter of 2011.

Peugeot SR1 Concept Car

My boy Raj is going to appreciate this one. He's had a Peugeot for years eventually moving on to his sick as hell Twin turbo 335i BMW. This a Peugeot SR1 Concept Car that is going to be revealed at the Geneva Auto Show. This beautiful piece of machinery also comes with a Bell & Ross timepiece built in the dash and yes one for the owner's wrist of course! Nice job Peugeot!

Bugatti 16C Galibier

Forget that CLS this is probably the sickest car on earth!-EMM The question of whether or not Volkswagen will decide to put the Bugatti 16C Galibier into production is still unanswered. While we've heard rumors that the German automaker was leaning towards the affirmative, a final decision has apparently not yet been made. Still, Bugatti is making sure all of its ducks are in a row... just in case. Evidence of such can be seen in a trademark filing with the World Intellectual Property Organization that seeks to keep other automakers from stealing the car's design and shape. After all, it's happened before. With Veyron production scheduled to come to an end after the 2012 model year, Bugatti only has a little bit of time to decide if it's moving forward on that supercar's successor, and if so, whether or not the front-engine, four-door Galibier is the direction it needs to go. We should know soon enough.
